A 36 year-old man from Northampton has been arrested and charged with sexual assault, following a number of alleged incidents of sexual touching on buses in Northampton.
Scott Fielding, of Greenwood Road, Northampton, was charged with four counts of sexual assault on a female over 16. He appeared before Northampton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 25 April, and was remanded in custody.
The alleged offences happened between 4 March and 17 April, 2015.
Sergeant Alasdair Fraser said:
"Although a man has been charged with this offence, as part of the ongoing investigation, we are appealing for witnesses or anyone who believes they may have been a victim of a similar assault, to contact police on 101, quoting Operation Papaver."
