Man Found Dead On M1

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after the body of a man was found on the M1 near Newport Pagnell.
At 10.30pm yesterday (7/1) police were called to reports of a man’s body on the northbound carriageway of the M1 between Junctions 14 and 15.
Police attended and the man was found to be deceased.
It is not clear how he came to be on the carriageway. It is thought he may have been involved in a collision
The road was closed last night while officers investigated the circumstances of the man’s death.
The man has not yet been identified and next of kin have not been informed.
Investigating officer PC Ian Baldock, from the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit at Milton Keynes, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who may have any information about this incident, no matter how small the detail.
“It appears the man may have been struck by more than one vehicle. We are working to trace any vehicles which may have been involved. If you saw anything out of the ordinary on the M1 last night, or noticed anything in the road please contact TVP as a matter of urgency.”
