Police are continuing to search for a man who absconded from St Andrew’s Hospital in Northampton on Friday.
David Burke, 37, left the hospital in Billing Road, Northampton, yesterday afternoon, with another patient, who has since been found in Birmingham.
Mr Burke is thought to be in the West Midlands area, possibly Birmingham or Coventry, and police are appealing for the public’s help in finding him.
Mr Burke has serious mental health issues and could represent a danger to the public.
If anyone knows of Mr Burke’s whereabouts they are advised not to approach him but to call police immediately.
Mr Burke is white, 5ft 7in, of stocky build, with short brown untidy hair, and stubble. He was wearing a yellow and black horizontal yellow tee-shirt and blue tracksuit bottoms with yellow stripes down the side.
