People in Milton Keynes will soon be able to get a load of information at a new info centre.
Destination Milton Keynes (DMK), the official Destination Management Organisation for the city, will be opening a Visitor Information Centre (VIC) at a unit within Central Milton Keynes shortly and they are looking for volunteers.
The VIC will be the place to go for local, regional and international visitors to Milton Keynes. It will have up-to-date information on attractions, hotels, events and travel options available to the 100,000s of visitors that MK attracts every year.
DMK is looking for volunteers who are passionate about Milton Keynes and want to take a pro-active role in promoting the city. Volunteers must be confident in talking directly to the public and answering the many and varied questions they are likely to get.
It is hoped that the VIC will be become a real focal point for visitors travelling to and staying in Milton Keynes for the Rugby World Cup which has inevitably put MK on the global map.
If you're interested in volunteering please email firstname.lastname@example.org for an application form. Volunteers must be over 18 years old.
