A 13 year-old boy from Milton Keynes is being described as the next Lewis Hamilton, after just eight weeks at the wheel.
Darroch Marshall has been signed up by Formula One Kart Stars which is described as the kindergarten of F1.
Hamilton raced in the series as a youngster too before progressing to Formula One.
Darroch started Go Karting eight weeks ago by chance on a day out with the family after his nan bought him a session on the track.
He turned up at Daytona Race Circuit in Milton Keynes and was put out in the Junior go karts and within a few laps of karting for the first time he was only tenths of a second off the all time lap record.
Carolyn Hoy signed Darroch after recognising his talent, describing his "learning curve as almost vertical it's so extraordinary."
