There's now a choice of Register Office to tie the knot in Milton Keynes; now a new venue has opened.
The Mayor of Milton Keynes, Cllr Martin Petchey, and Leader of the Council, Cllr Pete Marland, formally opened the new Register Office at the Civic Offces in Milton Keynes; but, the old site in Bletchley, the Bracknell Rooms, is to remain open.
MK Council says the new venue boasts a range of modern facilities and far greater accessibility, including a new 80-seat ceremony room named the Flowers Suite after influential Bletchley Park engineer, Tommy Flowers.
Access to the new Register Office is through a brand new, dedicated main entrance to the rear of Civic offices, and a private garden has also been landscaped, which provides the perfect backdrop for photographs of a couple’s wedding celebrations.
Council Leader, Cllr Marland, said:
“It was great to be with the Registration Services team on what was an important day for the service as it opened the doors to its new home.”
