Two men from Northampton have each been jailed for more than seven years for their part in a brutal attack near an underpass.
Shannon Johanson (pictured, left) and Jay Coles (right) were sentenced at Northampton Crown Court on Friday following the assault in Ellfield Court, Lings, on May 24 last year.
The victim was attacked as he walked out of the underpass to the Billing Brook Road shops. The pair stamped on his hands resulting in fractures.
Johanson, 23, of Wade Meadow Court, Lings, was found guilty of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and sentenced to 7 years and six months.
Coles, 21, of Oak Grove, Cherry Orchard, was also found guilty of the same offence and sentenced to 7 years.
