Robbery At Shop In Bletchley

Police say workers at a shop in Bletchley have been left distressed, after two men robbed the store.

They went into the Premier Stores in Chepstow Drive on Thursday evening (26th February) at 7.19pm.

One of the men restrained a member of staff while the other took cash from the till and cigarettes from the counter.

The pair then ran off and no arrests have been made yet.

The offenders had their faces covered but one of them has been described as white, aged 20-25, 6ft , of slim build, wearing a hooded top and possibly wearing navy blue jeans. The other man is said to be white, aged 20-25, 5ft 3ins-5ft 5ins, of medium build, wearing a blue hooded top and light blue denim jeans, and carrying a white cotton bag.

Det Sgt Jason Simpson, from Milton Keynes Force CID, said: “While nobody was injured in this robbery, the incident will have been a distressing ordeal for the staff members.

“I would appeal to anyone with any information, or who thinks they may recognise the offenders from the descriptions, to contact us.”
