A 15 year-old boy's been stabbed in the back and suffered a collapsed lung following the attack in Rushden.
Northants Police say the boy was walking in the Chester Road and Spinney Road area with a friend at about 7.15pm on Sunday, January 25, when they were approached by a group of about three boys.
The 15 year-old was stabbed in the back twice by members of the group. His friend was also punched in the face.
The victim's been taken to University Hospital Coventry with a collapsed lung.
His condition is described as stable.
