Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an attempted kidnap in Milton Keynes on the same day a 14 year-old was later bundled into a van from Bletcham Way and abandoned 7 miles away in Bedfordshire.

Now Thames Valley Police have released details of an attempted kidnapping earlier the same day of another teenager and detectives are not linking the two incidents.

Between 1030-11am on Thursday (15th November) a 16 year-old girl was waiting at a bus stop on the V8 Marlborough Street between Netherfield and Tinkers Bridge when a car stopped alongside her.

A man driving the vehicle got out and approached the girl. He pulled her by the arm and told her he would take her wherever she wanted to go.

The victim refused and walked away and the offender drove away towards Bletchley before driving back along the V8 towards Milton Keynes University Hospital.

The offender is white, aged in his 20s, of skinny build, with short brown hair, bushy eyebrows and a beard.

He was wearing a white and grey Adidas jumper, grey and white Adidas jogging trousers, and black Puma trainers.

He was described as scruffy looking and smelt of cannabis.

The vehicle involved is a green three-door car which may have been a left-hand drive.

In the later kidnapping, at 3.40pm a 14 year-old girl, was walking in an underpass in Bletcham Way, which leads from the Power League AstroTurfs into Browns Wood.

She was then pulled into a parked dark blue van by a man in Elgar Grove.

There were sightings of the girl walking in Watling Street, Fenny Stratford, at 4.20pm and on a footpath outside Hunters Farm, walking in the direction of Little Brickhill at 4.35pm.

The girl was located at 7pm in a layby of the A5 near the Flying Fox public house in Sheep Lane, Potsgrove, Bedfordshire.

The offender is described as white, and had a flesh tunnel earring in one ear. He was wearing a black beanie-style hat, grey trousers and a grey top.
