Kettering General Hospital is cancelling some operations as it struggles to cope with the high winter demand.
The Trust say they're facing very significant pressures in A&E, on bed capacity and on our ability to discharge patients.
As with many Trusts across the Country, the hospital is still experiencing pressures which started to build up in early December and have continued to rise.
To ensure all of our patients are treated safely we have internal escalation processes in place.
Part of the escalation process includes the cancellation of a number of planned operations and we apologise for having to rearrange routine operations but our first priority must be to appropriately treat our medical emergencies.
The Trust is coping with the pressures and we are continually reviewing the situation with all of our partners.
