Speaker & Cash Stolen In MK Robbery

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a 16 year-old boy was robbed in Sutcliffe Avenue, Oldbrook.

At 8.30pm on Monday (25/5), the victim was walking along Sutcliffe Avenue quite near to the junction with Appleyard Place.

The victim saw a bicycle on the ground across the road that looked similar to one he owns and so he crossed the road to look at it.

As he did he was challenged by a youth who told him the bike belonged to him.

The victim was then surrounded by a group of six youths who asked what he had in the bag he was carrying.

The victim told them he had nothing for them at which point one of the youths who was wearing a red Adidas top hit the victim twice in the face.

The victim tried to turn away but one of the offenders who was wearing a black bomber jacket kicked him in the chest which knocked him into a bush.

As the victim tried to get up the same offender held a crow bar to the victim’s throat while the youth in the red Adidas top searched the victim’s bag.

A Bluetooth speaker and a quantity of cash were stolen from the victim, before the offenders then walked off in the direction of Winterhill.

The offenders were black and aged between 13 and 17 years-old.

One of the youths, described as wearing the red Adidas top is black, between 14 and 16-years-old, 5ft 11ins tall, slim with black curly hair. The logo and Adidas words on the top were gold in colour. He was also wearing black Nike Air Max 90 trainers.

The youth wearing the black bomber jacket is black around 17-years-old, 5ft 6ins tall and of a big build. He wore the hood up on the bomber jacket and there is a blue No Fear badge on the left breast of the jacket he was also wearing black Nike Air Max 90 trainers.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the offenders in the area or anyone acting suspiciously.
