Man Arrested Over Stevenage Stabbing

A 20 year-old man has been arrested after a stabbing in Stevenage.

At around 3.30am on the morning of Saturday May 23, an 18 year old man was attacked following an altercation with two men outside Primark in the town centre.
During the incident he sustained a wound to the stomach. The injured man had earlier been involved in an altercation with two men in Flava night club, Police would like to speak to these two men who may be able to help with the investigation. They have been described as a black man about 6ft 1in tall with dread locks, and a mixed race man with afro style hair.
The injured man was taken to the Lister Hospital, where he remains in a serious, but stable condition.

The 20 year-old has been arrested for Actual Bodily Harm.

Detective Sergeant Mark Clawson is investigating the incident and said: "We are urgently seeking anyone who witnessed this incident or was in Flava or the town centre at this time. If you saw the incident, and/or the events prior to it, please contact me as soon as possible."
