A teenage girl has told police she has been sexually assaulted on a bus in Northampton.
A 16-year-old girl was sat on the bus at about 4.25pm on Friday, 23 January, when a man sat next to her and started engaging in small talk with her.
The man then made suggestive comments to her before touching the outside of one of her legs.
The teenager became upset and other bus passengers went to her aid.
The offender was about 30-years-old, white, believed to be Polish and had short brown/blonde hair. He also had stubble and was wearing a black jacket and carrying a carrier bag.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, they would particularly like to speak to the bus passengers who went to the aid of the victim.
