A 19 year-old man from north-west London's been arrested at Luton Airport - and charged with terrorism offences.
Yahya Rashid from Willesden was held by police at the airport yesterday after landing from a flight from Istanbul.
Scotland Yard said:
"On 31 March, officers from the MPS Counter Terrorism Command (SO15) arrested a 19 year-old man at Luton Airport on suspicion of preparation of acts of terrorism under section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
The man, a British national, was arrested as he entered the UK having landed on a flight from Istanbul.
He was taken to a central London police station where he was charged today (1 April)."
