The three people who died in a road traffic collision on the old A421, Bedford Road, this morning (Friday, 29 May) have been named.
Lewis Cook and Marie-Ann Wykes, both 16 and from Marston, and Genevieve Reason, 32, from Woburn Sands, died when the car they were travelling in was involved in a collision with a lorry.
Police were called just after midnight to the incident near Sheeptick End. Sadly, the three were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other men were taken to hospital and have now been discharged.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit are urging anyone with information about the collision to get in touch. In particular they are appealing for witnesses who saw a white car in the area at the time of the incident to get in touch.
