Where can I get a taxi from?

Taxi ranks are located outside MK Central train station, and also to the front of the stadium for Hackney Carriages; outside Jurys Inn and outside McDonald's in the centre:mk.  On Rugby World Cup match days private hire vehicles will be directed to drop off and pick up on Clarke Road, Mount Farm

Is there a standard fare to the stadium?

The Council is not able to regulate the fares that private hire vehicles charge but for Hackney Carriage vehicles the fare rate is legally set at  £3 plus 20p for every 201 metres travelled before 10pm and £4 plus 20p for every 176 metres after 10pm for journeys completed within the MK borough.

How can I report a taxi for overcharging or behaviour?

Email taxi.enforcement@milton-keynes.gov.uk or call 01908 253599.

Picking up non-pre booked fares out of the taxis' area isn't legal.  Out of town taxis can only pick up pre booked hirings.  Only Milton Keynes Council licensed Hackney Carriages can pick up non booked fares.
