Lovingly dubbed the perfect festival for people who normally don’t go to festivals, REWIND is great fun, family friendly, and set in the green and pleasant surrounds of historic Henley-on-Thames, better known for its cream teas and annual regatta.

REWIND is super civilised for every member of its massive 40,000-strong audience; facilities on offer include GLAMPING – glamorous camping to those not in the know which means that smart tents or yurts, complete with shower and toilet facilities, can be booked and set up in advance plus this year, for the first time, Rewind will be offering accommodation in traditional wooden gypsy caravans.

There’s mooring to be had on the river right next to the site, themed bars abound with champagne and cocktails and posh nosh stands will offer a huge range of delicious goodies from Moroccan tagines, cupcakes, veggie and bbq delights to delicious snacks and meals which will be available throughout the festival. And this year The Wine Bar, that paean of 80s chic, will make its own Rewind debut with an excellent array of top quality vino. There are family-friendly facilities such as the KidZone which offers tons of fun activities for kids in a colourful big top; a funfair and magicians to keep even the most active kid amused! The hugely popular Silent Disco is back, as is the Live Karaoke Tent and the fireworks display closing the main stage on both Saturday and Sunday night. This year’s festival also sees the debut of the world’s first solar powered cinema; the Groovy Movie Picture House is a unique multimedia venue powered entirely by solar panels; from classic 80s blockbusters to independent films and cinema shorts, there will be something for everyone.
