Cheese Rolling cancelled

One of Gloucestershire's most famous events has been CANCELLED because of safety fears.

Organisors have decided not to go ahead with their year's Cheese Rolling at Cooper's Hill, because there are major concerns about the numbers of people who are turning up to watch.

When it started 20 years ago a couple of thousand people came to watch, last year that figure rose to 15,000.
