Flood minister visits Deerhurst

People living in a Gloucestershire village have been praised for their recovery from the devastating floods of 2007.

Floods Minister Huw Irranca-Davies visited Deerhurst on Monday to see the new flood defences that have just been put it places to stop it happening again.

Flood MinisterMr Davies says the work that has been done, through a partnership between the environment agency and local people, sets an example for the rest of the country.
