Gloucester: Cyclist Dies On Bypass

A cyclist has died on The Golden Valley Bypass after a collision involving his bike, a lorry and several cars travelling towards Gloucester.

Police say it happened on the Bypass near Junction 11 of the M5 at around 10pm on Monday night (12/1/15)

The cyclist, a 43 year old man from Gloucester, was pronounced dead at the scene.  No one else was injured.

The road was closed overnight and re-opened on Tuesday morning at around 6.00am.

The Coroner and next of kin have been informed.

Police would like to hear from anyone, whose details have not already been taken, who saw the collision or who has any further information.
