Robbery at Frankie and Benny's in Gloucester

A restaurant worker has been threatened with a knife during a robbery at Frankie and Benny's in Gloucester.

It happened at around 11.15pm on Sunday. 

The staff member was cashing up when a man entered the office, threatened him with a knife and demanded that he handed over the cash. 

Before making off with the money in a black, drawstring JD bag the offender taped the man's wrists to a rail near to the fire exit. 

The man managed to break free, however, and raised the alarm 

The offender is described as a white man, 6ft tall, of stocky build and wearing a black hoodie, black tracksuit trousers, a black hat and a scarf over his face. 

He made off through the back of the retail park in the direction of Mercia Road. 

Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area or has any information which would help with their enquiries. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 403 of 4 November.
