Waterpipes being replaced

Six million pounds is being splashed out on replacing loads of old waterpipes in West Gloucestershire.

The good news is that it will stop pipes bursting and improve the supply to thousands of homes.

The bad news is it will mean seven months of roadworks for people living around Redmarley, Lowbands, Corse, Staunton and Hartpury.

The work starts later this month and Severn Trent Water are holding open days so people can find out more.
