School Boy Sexually Assaulted In Cheshunt

Officers investigating a sexual assault on a school boy in Cheshunt are appealing for witnesses and information that could help with their investigation.

Between 3pm and 3.30pm on Tuesday, April 26, a man approached a group of school boys outside shops in Andrews Lane and touched one of the boys inappropriately before running away.

The offender is described as a white man, aged between 22 and 23, with short dark hair. He was wearing grey trousers or jeans and a black North Face jacket.

Detective Constable Rich Sprent, who is investigating, said: "I'd like to reassure parents that we are doing all we can to find this man and police patrols have been increased in the local area."
