Major new work starts on one of Hertfordshire's main roads today, the A41.
Resurfacing work, carried out by Eurovia on behalf of Hertfordshire County Council, will begin on the A41 from Bourne End to Tring tomorrow (9 June).
The £271,000 resurfacing scheme will take place in various phases until 18 June, weather permitting.
" Phase 1: A41 westbound off slip at Hemel Hempstead, up to and including the Stoney Lane/Upper Bourne End Lane roundabout, overnight (8pm-5am)for three nights from Tuesday 9 June to Thursday 11 June
" Phase 2: Between the A41 westbound off slip at Bourne End and the A4251 roundabout. The A41 will be closed overnight on Friday 12 June and the A4251 will be closed overnight on Monday 15 June.
" Phase 3: A41 on/off slip roads eastbound and westbound at Chesham, Berkhamsted overnight on Tuesday 16 June.
" Phase 4: A41 eastbound at interchange roundabout in Tring overnight on Wednesday 17 June.
