Appeal after Hemel robbery

POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information following a robbery in Hemel Hempstead on Friday, January 28.

The incident occurred between 6.50pm and 7.15pm.  A 21 year old man from Hemel Hempstead was walking in an alley way between Chapel Street and Austins Place when he was approached by two offenders.

One grabbed him from behind whilst the other took his mobile phone from his pocket. The offenders ran off towards Austins Place.
The first suspect, who held the victim, is described as a white man aged in his late teens to early 20s. He was approximately 5ft 8ins tall and wearing a black hooded top.
The second suspect is described as a white man of a slim build who was approximately 5ft 8ins tall. He was wearing a grey hooded top with a ‘McKenzie’ logo on the right arm.
