Appeal For Wanted Man

Police in Hertfordshire have released a photo of a man who is wanted in connection with alleged sexual assaults on young boys in St Albans.

54 year old Nigel Wilkes is wanted in connection with assaults which are believed to have taken place in the early 1980’s and early to mid 2000's.

He has links to Derbyshire, Salisbury, York and Canterbury but could be anywhere in the country.

Please note the photo shown is approximately 20 years old.

Officers from Hertfordshire Constabulary have been carrying out numerous inquiries to trace Nigel Wilkes which have proved negative so far and they are appealing to members of the public to help find him.

Anyone with information should call PC Ant McCormack at Hatfield police station via the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101. Alternatively call Crimestoppers, an independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111. You could be entitled to a cash reward.
