Police are appealing for information after a beehive was stolen from an allotment in Watford last week.
The beehive, known as a Dadant beehive, was taken from the allotment on Radlett Road, Watford between 5 pm on Monday February 14th and 5 pm on Tuesday February 15th.
Sergeant Cath Hart, who is investigating the incident said: "The owner is obviously upset that the bees and beehive have been taken from the allotment. I would appeal to anyone who may have seen anyone transporting the beehive away or who may have been offered the hive for sale to contact us."
