Police have issued CCTV images of two people they want to talk to over an attempted robbery of a car in Carpenders Park

Police say at 3.38pm on Tuesday, June 14, two offenders arranged to take a BMW M3 for a test drive after it had been advertised for sale online.
The vehicle’s owner – a 46 year old man – went with them and after a short distance, in Romilly Drive, one of the men, who was sat in the rear of the vehicle, produced a knife and held it to the vehicle owner’s neck.
The men demanded that the victim get out of his car. As the man got out of the vehicle he grabbed the ignition key from the front console and made off. During the incident he suffered a cut to his right hip.
The victim required hospital treatment and needed seven stitches to the wound.
Detective Sergeant Andy Wiseman said:

"We believe the men pictured may have information about this incident that could prove useful to our investigation.
Anyone who recognises these men, or has any other information about the incident, can contact me via Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference C3/16/596."
