Police are releasing a series of images of people they would like to speak to in connection with incidents where people have driven off from petrol stations without paying for fuel.
The incidents occurred at the Flamstead Filling Station on London Road between November 2011 and February 2012. Officers have carried out a number of enquiries and are now asking for the public’s help to identify the people pictured.
The images have been placed on the Hertfordshire Constabulary Facebook page www.facebook.com/hertspolice and people are urged to look at the images and contact police if they recognise anyone. You do not have to be a Facebook user to view the images.
Detective Constable Sharon Hill from the Hemel Local Crime Unit said: “We are looking to speak to these people in connection with fuel drive offs, as they may be able to help us with our enquiries.
“I would urge people to take the time to look at the gallery and contact police as soon as possible if they can identify them.”
Please contact police via the non-emergency number, 101 if you see anyone you recognise anyone. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
