Burglars have smashed through the patio doors of a house in Radlett and stolen cash and jewellery.
The burglary occurred between 9am and 1:45 pm on Thursday April 23rd, when the offender(s) smashed the rear patio doors and gained entry to the house on Newberries Avenue.
During the burglary, items that were stolen included, an Omega Seamaster Aquaterra watch, a set of earrings – yellow discs with a purple stone (photo of matching necklace attached), a wedding ring and £200 cash.
Detective Constable Laurence Harwood is investigating and said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious to contact me with information.
“I’m particularly keen to trace the watch and earrings as they are not only valuable items, but also have sentimental value to the victim.
“The earrings are distinctive and I hope that by releasing the picture of the matching necklace, it might jog people’s memories if they have been approached by anyone looking to sell them.”
If you have any information which could assist the investigation please call DC Harwood via the Herts police non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number J1/15/1447.
