Police Investigate Murder In Watford

Police have started a murder investigation after an 18 year old died in Watford.
The man was found with suspected stab wounds in Croxley View yesterday afternoon (Friday, August 22). He was taken to Watford General Hospital where he died a short time later.
A 21 year old man from Watford has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in police custody.
Officers are asking anyone who saw what happened or has any information to contact them as soon as possible.
Detective Inspector Jon McAdam from the Beds, Cambs and Herts Major Crime Unit said: "This is a tragic death and our thoughts are with the man's family at this very sad time. This will of course be of concern to the local community and I'd reassure people that we will conduct a full and thorough investigation into what happened.
"I would like appeal to anyone who witnessed what happened or has information which could assist the investigation to make contact with police. You can provide information anonymously via Crimestoppers."
