Two more men have been arrested after a 55 year old man was shot at a house in Watford.

The 26 and 27 year olds - who are from Watford - have been questioned on suspicion of attempted murder following what happened at a house on Hodges Way just before 1am on Thursday 27 October 2011.

They have since been released on bail, joining a 32 year old man who was arrested on Friday 28 October.

Detective Chief Inspector Steve Collin from the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit who is leading the investigation said "I would like to continue to appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident and saw or heard anything suspicious to contact us.

"I would also like to hear from anyone who has any information which could assist the investigation.

"Understandably this will cause some concern within the community, but I would like to reiterate the message that we believe this was a targeted attack."
