Baby Photos Stolen From Home In Hemel

A couple from Hemel Hempstead are devastated after a thief broke into their home and stole an external hard-drive filled with irreplaceable photos.

The night before the break in at Cleve Road, Phil Hammond had spend four hours filling the hard-drive with sentimental photos and videos of his 4 month old daughter.

As a keen photographer, he was the only person in the family to have photos and videos of baby Lyla.

Along with the external hard-drive, Phil and his partner Shauna had their laptop, camera and other valuables stolen.

Shauna told Heart losing the hard-drive is the worst:

"We were saying we would have rather they had taken anything else than that because everything else we can replace, that is the most upsetting part, I can't really describe it, its gone"

The couple are still holding out hope that the hard-drive might be returned.

They say it was not worth much in value but for them the photos and videos stored on it were priceless. 

Shauna says:

"She's four moths old and its all the firsts, first pictures of her first videos of when she was born" 

The hard-drive is a silver colour and made by Iomega Ego- it was in its original box when it was stolen.
