Christmas back in Watford

Carol singing has been put on in Watford to help trace the winner of a £1m Christmas Eve lottery prize who hasn't yet come forward.

Watford Lottery ChristmasFree mince pies were also handed out in Charter Place on Tuesday 25 January 2011, and a Christmas tree put up. Lottery organisers are hoping the stunt will help jog the memories of people in the Watford area into remembering if they bought the winning ticket.

It was bought for the Christmas Eve EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle. That's the draw which guaranteed 25 people would win a million pounds each.

The ticket has the code DGV087857 on it.  The ticket holder has until 5.30pm on Wednesday 22nd June 2011 to make their claim.

Watford Lottery ChristmasIf no one comes forward with the winning ticket before the deadline the prize money, plus all the interest it's gained, will go to the lottery Good Causes scheme.

If you think you might hold the winning ticket you should call the National Lottery Line before the deadline on 0845 910 0000.
