Fire Destroys Bar-Restaurant

Police investigating an arson attack on a Rickmansworth restaurant are trying to find people who were in the area at the time.

More than thirty firefighters were called out to tackle flames at the Villa Romana and Globe Bar and restaurant on Rickmansworth High Street just after 2.20am on Wednesday 6 April 2011.

Six fire engines from Bushey, Kings Langley, Rickmansworth, Watford and Garston were called out to deal with the flames.  The fire was put out just before 4.30am.

Hertfordshire's police are asking anyone who was in the area and saw anything suspicious to contact them on 0845 3300 222.
