Man Left With Face Injuries In Attack

A man has suffered a fractured cheek bone in an assault in St Albans.
The 56 year old had been walking along Victoria Street when it is believed he tripped over another man's bicycle close to the entrance of The Maltings car park.
Hertfordshire Police say it then led to an alleged fight between the two men, where one of them suffered facial injuries back on Wednesday Septmebr 19th at around 8,35pm.
The offender is described as a white man, aged in his early 20s, of slim build and between 5ft 5in and 5ft 7in. He had short dark cropped hair and was wearing a dark coloured, long sleeved sweatshirt and jeans.
DC Stuart Alexander, from the St Albans Local Crime Unit, said: 'We know that there was a number of people in the area at the time and I would be keen to speak to anyone who believes they saw the incident.'
