Man Wanted After Hit And Run

Police are looking for 22-year-old Thomas O'Leary after a hit and run in Watford.

O'Leary, also known as Tommy, from Carmelite Road in Harrow is wanted in connection with the police investigation into the crash which killed Jason Crane.

The 40-year-old died at the scene of the crash on Saturday, July 16, on Tylers Way in Watford.

Jason was a passenger in a white van which collided with a silver Audi. Three young men - thought to be travelling in the Audi - are alleged to have left the scene on foot before emergency services arrived.

The three young men are believed to have walked north along the A41 towards the roundabout with Eltsree Road. They were reported to be wearing jeans.

Senior Investigating Officer, Inspector Andy Piper, said: “If anyone knows of Thomas’s whereabouts or if anyone has any information about him, I would ask you to get in contact with us as soon as possible.  This devastating collision has robbed a man of his life and a family of a loving father and husband, and we are determined to bring those responsible to justice.”
