The latest in a series of Recycling Roadshows are underway in the Three Rivers District to help residents understand the changes being made.
Throughout June the council are delivering wheeled bins for recycling (black with a green lid).
The authority says please do not place this bin out for collection until the week commencing 30th June and continue to use your boxes until then. From 30th June please use the recycling bin on your normal collection day.
This wheeled bin will be emptied weekly.
The recycling you currently place out in the boxes can instead be placed mixed in the new bin and we will also be able to accept foil and cardboard. Cardboard should no longer be placed in your brown bin.
The authority says they are no longer able to accept plastic bags or soft plastic films so please place these in your refuse bin.
You will receive a letter explaining the change and when the bin arrives it will have a leaflet and sticker attached with more details.
Today you can find Recycle Roadshow staff at Croxley Revels on The Green and at the South Oxhey Fun day at the Precinct.
