Man arrested over South Oxhey stabbing

A 34 year old Kings Langley man's been arrested after a man in his thirties was stabbed in South Oxhey.

The victim was attacked in Otley Way on the evening of Thursday 21 April 2011.  He is being treated in a London hospital.

Herts police said they believe the victim and offender are known to each other.

Detective Inspector Karena Thomas, from the Major Crime Unit, said: "We know local people are anxious about what has happened and we are using considerable police resources to locate the offender. From the information we have gathered so far it is clear the victim and offender are known to each other.

"Can I thank those members of the public whose Easter Bank Holiday weekend has been disrupted by this incident for the patience. We are working as quickly as we can and will remove closures and cordons as soon as possible once all evidence has been secured."
