Strike Disruption in Hertfordshire

Schools, airports, courts and hospitals are among the services that have been affected by the biggest strike in the UK in 30 years.
Around two million public sector workers walked out on Wednesday 30 November 2011 in a row over changes to their pensions.
More than 300 Hertfordshire schools closed or partly closed because of action by teachers, leading to some parents having to take a day off work to look after their children. People flying into UK airports were told to expect delays because of a walkout by immigration staff.
