Hertfordshire water supplier Veolia Water Central have changed their name to Affinity Water after merging with Veolia Water Southeast and Veolia Water East.
Veolia Water Central are the main supplier of water across Hertfordshire.
Over the coming months, wherever the name Veolia Water appears on bills and maintenance vehicles it will be replaced by Affinity Water.
Affinity say the cost of the name change will be met by owners and will not be passed on to customers.
They also say water charges will continue to be set by the independent regulator, Ofwat.
Chief Executive Officer, Richard Bienfait stated:
“Our new name, Affinity Water, was chosen to reflect our community-focused company and our passion to deliver a high quality water service to all of our customers.”
