A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash on the A414.
Her black Smart Fourtwo car collided with a lorry on the eastbound carriageway around a mile and a half before the Park Street roundabout on Tuesday morning, at around 8.30am.
She was taken to the Royal London Hospital with serious injuries and remains in a stable condition. The lorry driver, a man in his 60s, was not injured.
Anyone who was travelling on the road and saw what happened is asked to contact PC Helen Carpenter via the Herts Police non-emergency number 101.
