A total of 18 people have now been charged by police investigating the supply of Class A drugs on the Isle of Sheppey.
Officers from Kent Police’s Operation Jupiter team have been making enquiries for more than a year into the suspected large scale distribution of heroin and cocaine.
The investigation, which has connections to organised crime groups and gangs in Liverpool and covers reported offences between 2014 and 2016, has resulted in the following charges:
Wesley Brown, aged 32, of no fixed address - conspiracy to supply Class A drugs between 23 July, 2015 and 28 July, 2015.
Kane Trayling, aged 25, of no fixed address - conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin between 3 November, 2014 and 21 June, 2016; conspiracy to produce crack cocaine between 23 July, 2015 and 28 July, 2015; conspiracy to supply Class B drugs, amphetamine sulphate, between 9 January, 2016 and 21 January, 2016 and a charge of conspiring to fraudulently evade a prohibition on the importation of a Class B drug, between 9 January, 2016 and 21 January, 2016.
Lee Magee, aged 34 and of Roberts Road, Basildon - conspiracy to produce crack cocaine between 23 January, 2015 and 28 July, 2015.
Ricky Wigglesworth, aged 26, of no fixed address - conspiracy to produce crack cocaine between 23 July, 2015 and 28 July, 2015 and possessing criminal property - namely £11, 300 in cash - on 27 July, 2015.
Khyle Harding, aged 23 and of no fixed address - conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin between 3 November, 2014 and 21 June, 2016 and possession of a firearm and section 1 prohibited ammunition.
Luke Mitchell, aged 32, of Queensway, Sheerness - conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine between 3 November, 2014 and 21 June, 2016.
David O’Neil, aged 37, of New Street, Sheerness - conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin between 3 November, 2014 and 21 June, 2016.
Shane Kent, aged 29 and of no fixed address - conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin between 3 November, 2014 and 21 June, 2016.
Tallanius Bridgeland, aged 22 and of Freemens Way, Deal - four offences relating to the possession of crack cocaine and heroin with intent to supply between 4 and 5 April, 2016.
Kerry Little, aged 43 and of Marian Avenue, Minster, Sheerness – possessing cocaine on 31 July, 2015 and possessing criminal property, namely £600 on 31 July, 2015.
Jordan Dennis, aged 25, of Hillside Road, Chatham - possessing criminal property, namely £11,300 in cash on 27 July, 2015.
George Wright, aged 28 and of Davie Close, Sheerness - conspiracy to supply Class B drugs, amphetamine sulphate, between 9 January 2016 and 21 January 2016. He is also charged with conspiring to fraudulently evade a prohibition on the importation of a Class B drug.
Stuart Hopkins, aged 53 and of Wickham Close, Sittingbourne - conspiracy to supply Class B drugs, amphetamine sulphate, between 9 January 2016 and 21 January 2016. He is also charged with conspiring to fraudulently evade a prohibition on the importation of a Class B drug.
Charlotte Levesconte, aged 26 and of Davie Close, Sheerness - conspiracy to supply Class B drugs, amphetamine sulphate, between 9 January 2016 and 21 January 2016. She is also charged with conspiring to fraudulently evade a prohibition on the importation of a class B drug.
Joanna Gibbs, aged 32 and of Botany Close, Sheerness - two offences of permitting the use of a premises, for supplying heroin and cocaine, between 1 April, 2015 and 4 August, 2015.
Georgie Kelly, aged 21 and of Meads Avenue, Sittingbourne - charged with participating in the criminal activities of an organised crime group between 23 July, 2015 and 31 August, 2015.
Ali Omar, aged 21 and of Beach Street, Sheerness - charged with participating in the criminal activities of an organised crime group on 12 August, 2015.
Amanda Maw, aged 34 and of Hurst Park Drive, Liverpool - charged with participating in the criminal activities of an organised crime group between 23 July, 2015 and 31 August, 2015 and conspiracy to supply crack cocaine, between 23 July, 2015 and 28 July, 2015.
Preliminary court hearings are scheduled to take place at Chatham Magistrates’ Court on 28 February, 2017.
Operation Jupiter
The strategy includes taking robust action to deter criminals in areas including Medway, Swale, Gravesham and Dartford, often in connection with the sale and distribution of drugs.
