Cyclist Stabbed In Margate

A man, in his 20s, has been treated in hospital after being stabbed as he cycled in Margate.

It happened in Addington Street, near to King Street, in the early hours of yesterday.

No one's been arrested.

Detective Inspector David Cox said: "We believe that a light-coloured car pulled up alongside the man just before he was assaulted.

"The victim then cycled along Addington Street briefly before calling an ambulance.

'We would ask anyone who might have seen something which could help our investigation to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 14-0076.

"Alternatively call Kent Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111."
