Detectives say the death of a man, whose body was found in the River Stour last week, is being treated as 'unexplained'.
They are now appealing for anyone who might have seen him beforehand to come forward.
Kent Police was called at 6.32am on Friday 29 April to the River Stour near North Lane in Canterbury.
The man was declared dead at the scene.
He has been formally identified as 27-year-old Roman Mol, originally from Poland but believed to have been living locally.
His family has been told.
Detectives say they are treating his death as 'unexplained', and that enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.
Officers have asked that anyone who knew him and saw him in the days before his death to get in touch.
