Two men have been jailed for running a cannabis factory on an industrial estate in Edenbridge that produced over £100,000 of the drug.
David Dolor and Eran Phillip grew the Class B drug in a vacant property on the Warsop Industrial Estate in Hever Road between October 2013 and February 2016.
Police were alerted by a man working for a property management company who noticed a strong smell of cannabis coming from an upstairs room.
Inside three locked rooms, officers found a sophisticated production of cannabis plants with estimated to have a street value of up to £103,320.
An electrical engineer was called in and found that the electricity meter had been tampered with so that energy could be used without payment.
Records showed that Dolor and Phillip had rented the rooms since 1 October 2013 and forensic analysis of a cigarette butt at the scene provided a match for Dolor.
Dolor, 38, from Gonville Road, Thornton Heath, was sentenced to six years imprisonment. Phillip, 37, from Crawley, was given five years.
The pair both denied producing cannabis and abstracting electricity but a jury found them guilty. They were sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court.
