Holidaymakers In Kent Delayed Due To Weather

Rain and thunderstorms across Europe overnight have been causing big travel problems for people heading off on their summer holidays
some parts saw around a months worth of rain in an hour.
Passengers heading for the Eurotunnel Terminal at Folkestone are facing some of the longest delays of up to five hrs for some passengers.
Eurotunnel says it's working hard to improve the situation as quickly as possible.
There are also 2 hr delays at border checks at the Port of Dover
Six extra sailings due to take place tonight between Dover and Calais.

Some passengers were forced to spend the night on the floor at Gatwick and Heathrow with flights delayed due to bad weather
