Kent police say a cyclist has been killed in Folkestone

Officers from Kent's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist died in Folkestone.

Emergency services were called to Dover Hill at its junction with Dover Road at 12.55am on Sunday 4 November after reports a cyclist had come off his bike. South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and say the local 61-year-old man died at the scene.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Di Walker said:"We are appealing for witnesses to this incident and anyone who may have seen the orange coloured pedal cycle being ridden in the area. We would also appeal for anyone who may have dash cam footage to get in touch."
