Man Arrested At Gatwick Airport Over Kent Murder

Kent detectives have made another arrest in connection with the death of a man from Sittingbourne

39 year old Peter Beale was found dead on the Rochester side of the High Street bridge on Tuesday 18th September 2018. Police say his injuries were consistent with a stab wound.

Police swooped in the early hours of this morning on a man in his 20's as he flew into Gatwick Airport. The man from Hoo remains in police custody

Officers have previously arrested and released six other people in connection with the murder, they include a teenage girl from Hove in East Sussex along with
A man in his 30s from Rainham who was arrested on the night following the discovery of Mr Beale's body. He has since been released without charge.

Others include a man in his 40s from Chattenden, who has arrested on Wednesday 19 September. He has been released pending further enquiries. A man in his 20s from Belvedere, who was arrested on Wednesday 19 September. He has been released pending further enquiries. A woman in her 50s from Norfolk, who was arrested on Thursday 20 September. She has been released pending further enquiries. A man in his 20s of no fixed address, who was arrested on Friday 21 September. He has been released pending further enquiries.
